530th Air Base Wing cites Celso’s infrastructure aid

In celebration of its 54th Founding Anniversary yesterday, the 530th Air Base Wing of the 3rd Air Division of the Philippine Air Force has commended Mayor Celso Lobregat for implementing various infrastructure projects inside the Edwin Andrews Air Base, this city.
In a plaque of appreciation presented to Lobregat, who he described as a friend and benefactor, Brigadier General Carlix P. Donila, wing commander, said the city government’s invaluable support and assistance rendered to the 530th ABW, 3rd Air Division, PAF, had immeasurably contributed to the over all accomplishments of various infrastructure projects at EAAB.
The occasion had for its guest of honor and speaker Lt. Gen. Oscar H. Rabena, commanding general of the Philippine Air Force, who also cited Lobregat’s assistance to the 530th Air Base Wing.
To recall, the city government under Lobregat’s administration has implemented various projects at the EEAB, which included road concreting, drainage system, repair and construction of classroom buildings at the EAAB Elementary School.
In his message, Gen. Donila thanked the Wing’s benefactors as his men and women strived to uphold the Air Force’s core values of integrity, service, teamwork, excellence and professionalism which “define the attitude and character of the men and women of the Wing.”
Also present were Western Mindanao Command chief Maj. Gen. Benjamin Dolorfino, Naval Forces Western Mindanao commander Rear Admiral Alexander Pama, representatives of Congress persons Beng Climaco and Erbie Fabian, Sta. Maria Barangay Chairman Justo Lacandalo and several other top ranking military officials and awardees that included Col. Bill Coultroup of the Joint Special Operations Task Force- Philippines (JSOTF-P) and a broadcast journalist. (Vic Larato)
