City slates medical missions on Sunday
The City Health Office has scheduled a series of medical missions on Sunday, Sept. 6, in three different locations as the city government joins the Philippine Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) in celebration of its 75th Anniversary on Sept. 8.
This was announced Thursday by CHO officer Dr. Rodelin Agbulos, saying the CHO-sponsored medical missions will be conducted simultaneously in Quiniput (Cristin Paragas Memorial Hospital), Vitali (Lying-in Center) and CHO compound at Pettit Barracks. Services will include medical, dental and feeding program.
He said the Quiniput mission hopes to cover indigent residents from barangays Curuan, Buenavista, Lubigan, Muti, Quiniput; Vitali mission will serve those from barangays Vitali, Tictapul, Limaong, and Licomo, while the CHO will serve those from Sta. Catalina, Kasanyangan, Mariki, Rio Hondo and Sta. Barbara. Feeding will be held at Red Cross Training Center.
On the same day, Sept. 6, several other government and non-government groups will conduct their own medical missions, as follows:
Office of Assistant Secretary Crisanto dela Cruz at Ayala gym for Ayala, Pamucutan, Talisayan, Tulungatung and La Paz; WesMinCom for Recodo, Sinunuc, Maasin and Baluno; Rotary Club West and Metro at Pasonanca Barangay Hall for Pasonanca, Dulian Upper Pasonanca, Canelar and Tumaga; 55th Engineering Brigade in Cabatangan for San Roque, Capisan and Cabatangan folk.
Rotary Central at Culianan Barangay Hall for Cabaluay, Lumayang and Culianan; GBPI/PAF at Sangali for Victoria, Lamisahan and Sangali; Rotary East and North for Tetuan Tugbungan.
Sept. 13- Lions Club at Baliwasan Central School for Baliwasan, Calarian, Campo Islam and Malagutay; Sept. 24- Office of Councilors Abdurahman Nuño and Lilia Nuño in coordination with CHO in Taluksangay, Landang Gua, Landang Laum and other island barangays; and Sept. 29 in Mampang for Arena Blanco, Talon-Talon and Mampang.
